Simpson offers insulation packages that come in multiple thicknesses that you can add to your metal building purchase.  Whether you need a 3” insulation package to help battle the humidity in your steel garage or shop, or a 6” insulation package to help prepare your new steel barndominium for climate control, we’ve got you covered! Our standard insulation has a VR facing that is very similar to TVEK house wrap. It is a white polypropylene scrim kraft facing and has a very superior vapor barrier and perm rating.  The facing is laminated with a flame-retardant adhesive that is reinforced with tri-directional fiberglass/polyester to prevent rips and tears.

This metal truss is similar in shape to a wooden truss with a bottom cord except made entirely out of quality metal. We also use 26-gauge metal sheeting which is heavier and provides more durability. Twelve-gauge red iron structural steel is also used to provide additional strength and quality.
