Simpson offers insulation packages that come in multiple thicknesses that you can add to your metal building purchase. Whether you need a 6” insulation package to handle Riverside Counties 110-degree days, you are in the mountains of Tahoe where negative temperatures and large snows can happen, or maybe you live in a slightly more moderate climate such as San Diego or the Bay Area and need a 3” insulation package, we’ve got you covered. Our standard insulation has a VR facing that is very similar to TVEK house wrap. It is a white polypropylene scrim kraft facing and has a very superior vapor barrier and perm rating. The facing is laminated with a flame-retardant adhesive that is reinforced with tri-directional fiberglass/polyester to prevent rips and tears.
